Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director who is best known as the star of Birdman. Being a multi-faceted actor, he can perform comic and dramatic roles. He's also played several romantic characters and appeared in several action thrillers in his career. When he was in his teens, he developed an interest in acting and performing. He then tried stand-up comedic performances as a teenager. He was unsuccessful in his comedy career however this set the way to the success of his acting career. Inability to make it in the field of comedy, he picked the job of cameraman for a TV cable channel. He realized that his true passion was in front the camera when he was working at the station. When he was offered a part on TV, he starred on numerous episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. An actor with natural talent, he gained popularity quickly on television. In pursuit of his dreams, he started a film career and was a household name due to his comedic roles. The actor gained more fame for his role as Batman, the titular superhero in Tim Burton's Batman. He grew in his abilities in his acting skills and started to pursue direction and production. The 2013 Birdman film won him a number of nominations and awards.
