Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress, best recognized for her performances in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television show Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. After her parents' divorce her parents separated, she moved to Worthington, Ohio to live with her family in Los Angeles. The actress landed her first part as Rachel's Room's title character, in 2001, despite having a difficult time financially. The film for television Murder in Greenwich, in which she played 15-years-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination for the Young Artist Award. In 2004, Grace was cast as Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost on which she was the main cast member for the first two seasons. She was also awarded an award called the Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. Grace was a co-star alongside Tom Welling on The Fog during 2005, decided to make the move into the world of film. She also starred on screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well as, alongside Liam Neeson's Kim Mills as Kim Mills for Taken. The same character was played by Grace on Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both in 2012). Grace returned to her role as Shannon in Lost and the final episode. She was in 2013 for the sixth season of Californication. The character she plays is Faith who's a star-gazer and groupie. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Gyllenhaal is a part of the family and is the elder cousin of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began when she was a teenager, playing small parts in a few of the films of her father and starred with her brother in the famous cult classic Donnie Darko (2001). Later, she was as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her leading roles in Secretary (2002 an erotic romantic drama), and Sherrybaby (606), both of which garnered her Golden Globe Award nods. In the wake of several successful commercial films including World Trade Center in 2006 she gained greater recognition when she played Rachel Dawes (the superhero) in The Dark Knight (2007). She was nominated as the Best Supporting Actress at the Oscar Awards for her performance of a single mother in Crazy Heart. Following that she was a part of comedies and dramatic films: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012. Some of her other parts include acting as a Secret Service agent for The Secret Service in White House Down 2013 as well as a singer in Frank 2014 and also the role of a teacher in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she is the lead role. Gyllenhaal's debut as a writer and director took place in 2021, with The Lost Daughter, a psycho-drama in which she won the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. In addition, she received the Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
